How the idea of opening this blog was born?

Process and Development

In my heart there is a great desire to preach the gospel, but as Christians we know that it is the Holy Spirit who distributes the gifts to each of us. I have been blessed with writing and even though I can’t go around the world preaching the gospel, I can do it through social media that nowadays has become a great blessing and help in this ministry. The work it’s Christ’s but the growing will come from the Holy Spirit. He will open doors to get where there is need, I’m only his unworthy servant that does what He has called me to do (Luke 17:10)


This is how…

The idea of opening this blog was born. Early one morning God spoke to me clearly and reminded me about what he had been talking to me in the past so I could put into practice. He gave me the name and the design of the blog, that morning when I woke up I had the vision of how it should be, I just took a pen and paper and started putting everything down. With the help of a graphic designer, and brother in Christ, we were able to finalize what had started with colored pencils and paper. This is how we now have a logo that bears the name that was born in God’s heart, Sprinkle of Love and Hope, to God be the glory!


Sprinkle of Love and Hope has been thought of with the only purpose to help those without hope and to encourage the weary. The Bible verse that it’s the foundation of this ministry is found in Mark 5:36.

“Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” Even if the trial it’s tough, just believe!” For honor and glory of God.

About Us

We are team committed to the service of the Lord. My daughter Tania interrupted her studies in International Relations, now she is very blessed, married to a man of God and with 5 beautiful children. It is her who translates while I write what God want to minister to you, my readers.
As for me, I’m God’s humble servant. I left everything God had blessed me with and moved to this beautiful country to start from scratch, thus following God’s calling for my life. I only wish to serve Him and work for Him according to His will. I’m not alone in this, I’m joined by my loving husband Carlos and our grown kids Karla and Carlos, whom I love and commend to God everyday of my life

I’ve always being very blessed…

when I was a teenager I was passionate about basketball, and I was able to play for my school and participate in the national school games and win championships. As I advance in the sport I got to be part of the youth national team representing my country in the Central American Games of 1984 celebrated in Guatemala City, Guatemala, where we won a gold medal.
As I grew older God blessed me with a job that filled me with satisfaction because I got to do what I enjoyed and because I was able to witness God’s power in it. It was there that I started to know who I now serve with great love and passion.

After accepting Jesus as my savior in 2001, he opened doors for me. He bless me with a promotion and helped me in the performance of my new duties. In gratitude, I asked Him to allow me to be of service in a way that would please Him. I felt God’s will was guiding me to leave everything he had blessed me with professionally, my parents, my sister and everything I had.

This is how I came to be in this country …

which was unknown to me, initially we received help from my husband’s family and then came out family in Christ. Starting over was hard, but I always trusted God, He changed my life and turned my “journey to the unknown” into the fulfillment of His will for me. It is humanly impossible to comprehend what you have to go through in order to really get to know God, serve Him, love Him and work for Him.

The only citizenship I strive for is the one in Heaven, and I’m looking forward to being in His presence. While I’m on this earth, I’m completely under God’s will who has never left me alone and has always been my provider in every single one of my needs.

As the apostle Paul once said: “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians‬ ‭4:11-13‬ NIV

In my life that translates to I can get by with or without, and not because I haven’t experienced need but because when I was in need and I couldn’t see a way out, God provided for me in abundance. Praise God for that!

As soon as we got to this country I felt compelled by God to write every experience I had with Him.

That is how I started what I titled:

“Walking by Faith”. Soon after I started I stopped writing because what was happening around me and to my family did not reflect God was with me, it seemed like my faith was being tested. I didn’t understand at the time that it is  necessary to go through trials to be able to know God, and be able to tell the world the wonderful way He is always there for us, blessing our lives. He has a  special care and love for those who love and serve Him.

It would take four years for me to resume my writing, this time God placed in my heart writing about my life, starting when I was little, and that is what I did but after a while I started having doubts and I questioned if it was pleasing to God or not. For a second time, I stopped writing.

Finally

God dealed with me differently, He gave me specific instructions to conclude my writing and not only that but I should share it so that others would be blessed as well. And that is how I started writing again and I’m about to finish my book titled “My Transition, the book it’s about the ways God has worked in me, what my life was like before accepting Christ and the change He has worked in me. It talks about the path I had to follow to acknowledge, serve and work for Him. Today I can say God has ministered every aspect of my life by the power of His love.

I would like to clarify that I’ve believed in God since my youth, my parents made sure me and my siblings  belonged to a religion and participate in its sacraments and traditions. God in his mercy guided me through the correct path to follow by placing in my heart a desire to fall in love with Jesus. He did the rest through his Holy Spirit working wonders in me.
